FTI/Vlaio & VML join forces

After an extensive pitch, the legendary brand FTI (Flanders Technology & Innovation) has chosen VML as its new agency. The mission is clear: bringing technology and innovation closer to people. The collaboration includes a fresh visual identity and thoughtful campaigns, but both partners are equally determined to create real impact—among festival participants and visitors, as well as with the wider public.

Flanders Technology & Innovation wants to put Flanders on the map with technology that improves our lives, makes our work easier, and amplifies our ideas. To achieve that, they were looking for an agency partner that not only thinks ahead but also acts quickly, rolls up its sleeves, and isn’t afraid to challenge them as a critical sounding board. That search led FTI to VML.

Preparations for FTI 2026 are already in full swing. The agenda includes a new visual identity and campaigns aimed at companies, researchers, and visitors alike.

FTI and VML see the next festival as the starting point of a long-term partnership—one focused on building greater visibility, growth, and impact together.
